i am back from my 4th con in a month, and i’m immeasurably exhausted. the charlotte and chicago airports did their best to poke my eye out, too. highlights of the last 2… at charlotte: dusty harbin literally does a pee pee dance while arguing politics at 2 in the morning/at chicago: the honkey tonk man looks brian bendis up and down at a signing like a lady of leisure. i did a panel for secret invasion facing more people than it’s probably advisable to put me in front of.

no more cons til next month, i’ll be at san diego for the first time in a lot of years without a table, so i’ll post what signings and panels you might see me at, as soon as i know. considering an exclusive new t-shirt to sell at signings. we’ll see.

somehow i missed that marvel comics presents #10 came out this past week. i’m kind of immeasurably happy with this series. this issue: mister hotline, kringe and MADAME MENACE.

1- i’ll be a guest of the HEROES convention this friday-sunday in charlotte, north carolina, set up with MATT FRACTION, JASON AARON and RICK REMENDER and probably losing money to the aforementioned at dice and eating barbecue. it was a last minute thing fraction talked me into, and i’m excited about it.  it’s my second time there and i’m incredibly fond of the show.

andy macdonald and i will be at table S24 on the crazy luminescent 2nd floor of the PUCK building on lafayette and houston at this year’s MoCCA Art festival, which is probably the most enjoyable and inspiring appearance we make every year.

we have a new robot crab shirt. we like it quite a bit.

the 2nd part of me and niko henrichon’s machine man run is called I’LL BE YOU and is out this week (5/29) in marvel comics presents #9, with a HULK cover by steve mcniven. it features a new marvel character niko and i cooked up for your birthday.

flying to portland, oregon tonight, from there i’ll be driving to the emerald city comicon in seattle, washington this weekend.  i’ll have books and shirts, not a ton of either, so anyone who needs anything should put in their appearance sooner rather than later.
